Passo Giau from Arabba via Caprile

The Giau may be the third hardest climb I’ve ever done in  Italy. The thing just never lets up! It didn’t help that I rode the Fedaia first.

I didn’t bother taking any pictures on the way up because the rewarding views are at the top. Below we have the Passo Giau sign, somewhere under a few hundred stickers.

Under all those stickers it says "Passo Giau."

Under all those stickers it says “Passo Giau.”

Here we are looking back at the monster.

Returning from Giau

Returning from the Passo Giau. The views are still great from the valley.
