Cycling Col de la Croix

Col de la Croix is a pass (1778 m.) in the canton of Vaud, in Switzerland. This is not to be confused with the Col de la Croix de Fer in France.

I started from Ollon and rode to Diablerets, where I had a very good sandwich (ham, cheese) and a coke.

I’d LOVE to know the impetus for this sign!

To Ride or Not to Ride

Yes. This is a beautiful ride with very little traffic. It’s not that hard a ride either so you can make it do it on an “easy” day. You must go all the way to Diablerets, however,  because it is the more beautiful of the two sides.

Next time I will do a loop, as guided by Alain Rumpf from the Grand Tours Project in the Col Collective video.
